The Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry, associated with the American Baptist Churches of Maine, offers year-round Sunday worship services at 9:00 a.m. at the Richard Bell Chapel in Parking Lot C, below the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel.

Downhill Worship is provided every Sunday, from Christmas to Easter at 11:00 a.m. Meet at the base of Double Runner chair, under the Downhill Worship sign.

Prayer Requests to a confidential prayer team can also be made online at the SACM website, or by calling the Ministry at (207) 237-2304. Email loafministry@yahoo.com with spiritual concerns, comments, or needs.

C.A.T. for Christian Athlete Team, meet on Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. at the Carrabassett Valley Adademy during the school year. When away from the valley, the athletes can maintain their devotionals via email, using Fellowship of Christian Athletes material online. At home or away, the athletes can stay connected with Scripture and each other.

Catholic Masses are said each Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Richard Bell Chapel during the ski season (Christmas to Easter.) Masses are also available Saturday night in Stratton and Sunday morning in Rangeley all year long.

Kids Klub for children grades 5-8 meet on Mondays and children grades 1-4 meet on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the AGC. Programs run November-April.

Our Daily Bread published and distributed by RBC Ministries since 1956, offers daily devotional stories and scripture verses. SACM provides free ODB booklets, available at the Richard Bell Chapel, or experience the daily devotionals online at odb.org on your computer. RBC Ministries also has ODB download apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Book Discussion Group – meets at the Chapel – Tuesdays – 4-5:15 p.m. – Starting January 3, 2012 – discussing The Essential 100 Challenge (E100) which are Bible passages and stories to help unlock the “big picture” of the Bible in ways we can all better understand it. Call the ministry at 207-237-2304 for further details. Take Back Your Marriage, a four week small group study for couples “sticking together in a world than pulls us apart”, to quote the book’s author William J. Doherty, PhD. The first sessions were held at the residence of Pastors Pamela and Earle Morse in Carrabassett Valley from October 26th to November 16 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Call the ministry at 207-237-2304 to sign up for the next sessions due to start in January.
