On June 30, 2021, COVID-19 related restrictions were lifted in the State of Maine. On Sunday, July 4, 2021, the Ministry resumed in-person Sunday Worship services at 9:00 A.M. in a hybrid service, comprised of in-person and Zoom coordinated gatherings of the faithful. It is our desire to continue hybrid services from here on. Due to increases in transmission rates in Franklin and surrounding counties during summer/fall months, masks and appropriate distancing are encouraged during in-person services.

Christmas Eve: We hosted a Sugarloaf Christmas Special on WSKI, Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2020 from 6-7 PM. Could not gather in the chapel last year, but could still share the Christmas story, light our candles, sing Silent Night and welcome the Light of the World into our lives again, as we gathered around the TV or computer at 6PM Christmas Eve joining Sugarloafers on mountain and around the world. The Special was rebroadcasted at 10:30 AM on Christmas Day.
For 2021, we will be offering our Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 24th on ZOOM. We will post the ZOOM LINK on our Facebook page as well as our website, www.sugarloafministry.com and at www.sugarloaf.com on the mountain’s event calendar.

Book Discussion Group – meets at the Chapel on Wednesdays 4-5:15 pm but due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the group meets from 7:00-8:30 PM via Zoom. New Discussion group starting Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 7:00 PM. Utilizing the book, Irresistible: Reclaiming the New That Jesus Unleashed for the World, by Andy Stanley. Everyone today is one click away from a podcast, video, or blog that undermines faith, Christianity, and in particular, the Bible. If we want to engage or re-engage people, we need to provide an “on-ramp” to faith that does not rely on “the Bible says” which is no longer a compelling argument. This study will challenge us to embrace the same kind of faith that transformed the world, focusing on the resurrection of Jesus as foundational to faith. Order your book now. Email Pastor Pam Morse at Pam@sugarloafministry.com for Zoom invite.
