Common Purpose & Contact Info

The Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry in collaboration with the Carrabassett Valley Public Library “Valley Seniors” along with our municipal, business and community partners, welcome you to the cvalleynetwork.org website. It is our intention that this website will help to support and assist an aging community of Sugarloafers to remain living and thriving in and around the Carrabassett Valley area, by providing a web-based network of resources and services available in the areas of health, transportation, community and social services. By providing a connection to peers and volunteers via the website; cvalleynetwork.org will encourage an aging community to pursue longterm residency and independence in our rural mountain region. In addition to the web-based information of interest to seniors, caregivers and family members who may be living away, a volunteer-based community outreach program known as Good Morning Calls, make daily telephone contacts with homebound valley area residents, or seniors living alone, to check-in with them to assure all is well. Click on the Good Morning Calls tab on the above menu bar for more information or to sign up to receive the calls, make the calls or both.
